AYERS causes, during the deoxidation of the metal part, a chemical reaction of connection with metal.
AYERS is a viscous liquid of brown color which is to be applied pure using a paint brush even if the support is humid. The time of this chemical conversion is 8 to 10 minutes on an oxidized steel.
Once dry, your part is covered with a bright black film which protects it for many months. If you don’t like the colour, it is easy for you to paint the part.
It is advised that incase of very oxidized surfaces, take off the non-adherent scales of rust using a metal brush.
